Food is a substance that is eaten by all living beings. The food which we eat contains nutrients. The nutrients present in food are carbohydrates , Proteins , Fats , Vitamins and Minerals. From food we get energy.We eat different types of food items in our daily life. For example fruits , vegetable , dal , rice , chapati , meat , egg and fish. Food is of 2 type cooked and uncooked. Uncooked food is also known as raw food, which we can consumed without cooking like fruits , salad and nuts. Cooked food means it is cooked , steamed , boiled , baked , fried and grilled. We get food form animal and plants. Grains , cereal , vegetable and fruits are the food which we get from plants. Milk , egg , meat , fish and chicken are the food we get from animals. Food is very important for our body without food we can't survive.For our good health we should eat healthy and fresh food.
