Freedom came to India at a price. We all know about the struggles of Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh and Jawaharlal Nehru. Today I am going to tell you about Rani velunachiyar who was the first Indian queen from India to fight against the British colonial power even before Rani of Jhansi. She is the first Indian queen from India to fight against the British and won back her kingdom in 1780 many decades before the first war of Independence. She is the first person to use the human bomb Kuyili her loyal follower doused herself in the ghee and set herself aflamed to blow up the ammunition of the British. She made women's only army udayazh to fight against the British.

  My Favourite Flower. Author : Krucha Ganesh Babar Hi, would you like to know which is my favourite flower I will tell you My favourite flower is lotus. Lotus is the National Flower of India. It is a sacred flower and occupies a unique position in the art and mythology of ancient India and has been an auspicious symbol of Indian culture since time immemorial. The colour of lotus is pink . It is an aquatic plant . Nelumbo nucifera is also known as Indian lotus . Lotus is dispersed by water the seeds sink in and the ground and then it grows and the leaf of the plant floats about the surface of water and a lotus is above the leaf. If you want a lotus plant in your garden or balcony you should use a bowl like pot which has no holes in it so that the water doesn't run out . A lotus has different colours such as pink , white , purple and yellow . THANK YOU.
