Motion
Author : Abhiram Deshmukh
What is motion ? It can be described as the amount of time taken
by an object to reach a particular distance. What is relative motion?
Take for example two trains train A and train B moving in two opposite
directions at the same speed if you were in train A and looked at
train B it would look like train B was standing still but it is actually
moving. Forces and their effects, when you apply a force it creates motion,
an object will move in the direction the force is applied if a fast enough
force is applied in the opposite direction it will slow down the object. the
force that slows down the object is known as friction, an example of friction
is a cup or plate slowing down when you slideit across the table. Speed,
distance and time, speed is how fast an object passes a particular distance
in a particular amount of time.
This is about a few things we experience about motion in our day to day lives.
Thank you!
