Hello friends,
I am Kavya Rishikesh Pathak. My topic is forgiveness. Once I went to play in the park with my friend. My friend got a beautiful golden ball to the park. I loved it. We played till it was noon. We were playing the last round of football when I shot the ball so high that the ball was nowhere to be found. We looked till it was evening but could not find it. My friend got so upset that she started crying. I wanted to help her but I did not know how. Finally, when she calmed down she broke friendship with me. The next day when I went down to play with my other friends, I saw something glimmering in the bushes. I went to take a look, and I saw the golden ball my friend and I were playing with. I smiled and picked up the ball. It was all muddy. I went back home, and washed the ball, and went to my friend’s apartment. I knocked on the door. I was feeling very nervous. She opened the door and looked at me then at the golden ball. I extended the ball towards her. She took it, still staring at me. I turned to leave when suddenly she said “Wait!’’ I turned around, looking alarmed. The she hugged me and said, “I shouldn’t have fought with my best friend over a ball.” We smiled at each other. We held hands and went down to play.
