Hello to all my readers!

I don't know if this story is true or not? But yet I will tell you this story as it teaches us a moral.

It is a legend about a woman who once angered Saint Peter. One day, after moving from place to place to preach, Saint Peter reached the place where this woman lived. He was feeble due to the long journey and due to fasting the entire day. The woman, at that time, was baking cakes on the fireplace. Saint Peter asked her if she could give him a cake from her pile of cakes. The woman did not give the cake that she was baking because she felt that the cake was big. Instead, she baked a smaller one but that too appeared to be big. Finally, she took a very small portion of dough and made a wafer-thin cake. However, she could not share that wafer-thin cake either. Her greed and selfishness provoked Saint Peter. He told that she was too selfish and unfit to live as a human being, to enjoy food and shelter. He cursed her that she would have to bore for food. Instantly, the woman got transformed into a woodpecker which had to bore in hard wood to get food. The children going to school can see her in the trees boring for food in hard dry wood all day.

So readers, you saw that what happened to the woman because of her egocentrism and niggardliness. So better do share things with others and don't be selfish. For now I'm waving you a hand and "THANK YOU!
