A Special Gift
A Special Gift - 2
Hi Guys, nice to meet you all again! So let me continue the blog which I had written previously. But first let me give you all a small intro. While shopping me and my mom met a poor small boy. He was asking us to buy a balloon of 60 rupees. My mom showed sympathy and told him that she had 40 rupees. But she didn't give it to him in cash, instead she did something else.
My mom told him that she would give him a little something to eat, but the boy said that he would love a few sweets. Then my mom, although a bit surprised went into a nearby sweet shop to find something. But alas! There were no sweets which could cost only 40 rupees. She told the same to the boy and said he could have some snacks instead. But the little boy said something incredible.
He said to get him a bottle of oil. My mom went to get it whereas I asked the boy why he asked for oil. He told me that his mother had less hair and she envied other woman for that. "If oil can make her happy, it will make me happy", said the boy. I was completely surprised by the answer.Meanwhile my mom came and gave him the small bottle of oil. She also bought 2 snacks from the remaining money. The boy went away happily.
This taught me how one can starve just to make other's happy. Remember to always make your mother proud just like how this little boy did.
Well, this was the end of my blog. Hope you enjoyed my blog. Meet you next time, till then, BYE!!
